Just Around The Corner. Great season on the way. Few dates left in April and May. June has more availability. We had a normal winter and this should set up good spring and summer tarpon fishing. The bait should arrive on time for the early season. Tarpon where being caught in good numbers in Boca Grande Pass late February and early March when the local tarpon population took advantage of the spring water temps. Another round of colder temps and wind was a welcome occurrence and pushed those fish back to winter haunts, but they will be back in time to start my season.
