Your Boca Grande Tarpon Fishing Guide
I’m Capt. Andy Boyette, owner of Go Fish Charters and a Southwest Florida fishing guide since 1998. I offer Boca Grande tarpon fishing charters from April through October, fishing Boca Grande Pass, Charlotte Harbor, and the surrounding waters. Where we fish depends on the time of year and the conditions when you arrive.
Boca Grande Pass is an important part of that fishery, but it is not the only place I fish. The beaches, harbor, and nearby waters give us different options as the season progresses. I plan the trip around the fishing rather than promising one location months in advance.

The season: April through October
In April, my fishing can include the flats and backcountry around Charlotte Harbor, Cape Coral, and Fort Myers. As the season moves into May and June, Boca Grande Pass becomes a major part of my tarpon fishing.
The early and late parts of the season also deserve consideration. On my Charlotte Harbor trips, those periods have produced some of my best fishing days, often with less fishing pressure. If your travel dates are flexible, talk with me about the kind of trip you want before choosing a week.
I run tarpon charters through October. The best plan for your trip depends on your dates and the conditions, not simply the busiest weeks on the calendar.
Boca Grande Pass, the beaches, and Charlotte Harbor
Fishing in the Pass is different from fishing along the beaches or inside the harbor. My trips can cover these areas, as well as Pine Island Sound, using the approach that fits the fishing that day.
Tell me your preferred dates and your group’s experience. I choose the fishing area based on conditions and confirm the departure time and designated pickup location with you.

Choose Your Boca Grande Tarpon Charter
I offer 6-, 8-, and 10-hour tarpon charters. The 8- and 10-hour trips have variable start times so I can target the period I expect to offer the best opportunity. Six-hour morning and afternoon trips have limited availability; call to discuss which option fits your dates.
You can fish with me whether this is your first tarpon trip or you have spent years pursuing them. Rods, reels, bait, tackle, and fishing-license coverage are provided.
