Tarpon Fishing May 2017
May 5, 2017If you are planning a to fish with me I only have a few spots open in May and June is starting to fill up so get you plans made and lets go catch a Big Fish.
Fishing has been as good as it gets here in our area with Snook Redfish and Trout on every trip. The white bait is plentiful and artificial baits are working strong. The mornings have been cold and the tides start out low so the afternoon trips have been more productive. Seems like the unusual cold weather is just hanging around for a few more days. Tarpon have yet to show but I have heard reports from Sanibel and the Everglades as soon as we get warm nights with some consistency they will be here.

Capt Andy, a seasoned Boca Grande tarpon fishing guide with over 18 years of experience, offers unparalleled adventures in the tarpon capital of the world. Centrally located on Charlotte Harbor, he provides convenient pickup points from various locations, including Boca Grande, Fort Myers, and Sanibel. Catering to up to four anglers, Capt Andy specializes in live bait, spinning gear, and fly fishing. Boca Grande’s tarpon, known as the silver kings, promises heart-pounding excitement with their leaps and fights. This premier destination attracts anglers globally, eager to experience the unmatched thrill of tarpon fishing from April through September.
